Visual Communication + Change University Project:
The assignment was based on creating a campaign/brand that talks about ocean waste. With this topic, I analyse how so many brands tend to do campaigns to fix the harm they already made. That is why I decided to create a new brand that is specifically created to create awareness of our own consumption. Instead of picking up the trash we already generated why don't we contribute to avoid that from happening in the first place?

Hopsea is a Beer brand that creates awareness about ocean waste generation. Every year, between 8 to 14 million tonnes enter our ocean and we think is the moment to stop this. Having fun with friends during summer shouldn’t cause this much harm and we are here to fix this.

In every can, depending on which kind of beer you have, there is a design relation between the color and the taste of each beer. Also, an illustration of different animals is shown. These animals are the most harmed by ocean waste studied by multiple researchers.

The color palette was chosen to be fresh and happy like our beaches after consuming our beers safely and responsibly. Also, our target audience is the young population that spends the summer at the beach with friends and generates an enormous amount of residual waste and this is the kind of color we consider accurate for them.
